Limited Warranty Policy
Congratulations with the purchase of your new Mecha Product (“Product”). If you have any questions when setting up your Product and would like some helpful hints, we recommend that you visit our website for your Product: https://website.sandbox.mecha.build where you will also find relevant contact information. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, please contact the vendor that sold the Product to you or contact the relevant Mecha customer support center by electronic mail or phone.
We recommend that you register your Product via the website for your Product. Your registration will allow us to inform you about updates for certain Products, possible new offers and new Products and/or applications. Registering is easy; just follow the instructions on website for your Product.
NOTE: THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO CONSUMERS IN THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA (EEA) MEMBER STATES AND THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AS THEY ARE PROTECTED BY LOCAL CONSUMER LAW AND BENEFIT FROM LOCAL STATUTORY WARRANTIES.
This limited warranty (the “Limited Warranty”) protects only the original end-user (“you” or “your”), and is not transferable and is applicable only in the country (excluding EEA member states and the Russian Federation) in which you originally purchased your Product. Any attempt to transfer this warranty shall immediately make this warranty void.
The Mecha One-Year Limited Warranty is an optional manufacturer's warranty that provides additional benefits to the rights given by consumer law. Mecha's One-Year Limited Warranty does not exclude, limit, or suspend a buyer's rights arising from consumer law. Consumers have the option to choose whether to claim service under the Mecha One-Year Limited Warranty or under their consumer law rights. If you need to claim a warranty service, contact Mecha using the information described at undefined. Proof of purchase may be required to verify eligibility. Mecha has the option to repair or replace your defective Product or refund the original purchase price if a defect arises during the warranty period.
However, this warranty does not cover (1) normal depletion of consumable parts such as batteries, damage resulting from abuse, accident, modifications, unauthorized repairs, or other causes that are not defects in materials or workmanship; (2) unreasonable use or neglect (including the lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance); (3) damage during shipment (claims must be presented to the carrier); (4) damage to, or deterioration of, any accessory or decorative surface; (5) damage resulting from failure to follow instructions contained in your owner’s manual.
Furthermore, this warranty covers only actual defects within the Product itself, and does not cover the cost of installation or removal from a fixed installation, setup or adjustments, claims based on misrepresentation by the seller, performance variations resulting from installation-related circumstances such as source quality or AC power or Product modifications, any unit on which the serial number has been effaced, modified or removed, or units used for other than home use. This warranty is valid only for Mecha Products purchased from an authorized dealer.
Except to the extent expressly prohibited in your jurisdiction by applicable law, all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability are hereby excluded and in no event shall MECHA or any MECHA subsidiary be liable for any indirect, direct, incidental, special or consequential loss or damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Product, even MECHA and/or a MECHA subsidiary have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To any extent that MECHA cannot lawfully disclaim implied warranties under this Limited Warranty, all such implied warranties are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions or limitations on the duration of implied warranties or conditions, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction.
Please note that the Mecha One-Year Limited Warranty terms and conditions shall not apply to consumer law claims. For further information about consumer law, please contact your local consumer organization.
Mecha does not guarantee that it will be able to repair or replace any Product under this warranty without risk to and/or loss of information and/or data stored on the Product. In no event shall Mecha be liable for losses caused by the user's fault, loss of data or loss of profits or benefits.
If you are unable to return the Product to Mecha or its Authorized Distributors, Mecha may restrict warranty service for hardware Products to the country where Mecha or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.
Mecha will provide warranty service through one or more of the following options:
(i) Mail-in service - Mecha will send you prepaid waybills and applicable packaging material, so that you may ship your Product to a Mecha location. Mecha will pay for shipping to and from your location if instructions regarding the method of packaging and shipping the Product are followed.
(iii) Do-it-yourself (DIY) parts service - DIY parts service allows you to service your own Product. If DIY parts service is available in the circumstances, the following process will apply.
(a) Service where Mecha requires return of the replaced Product or part. Mecha may require a credit card authorization as security for the retail price of the replacement Product or part and applicable shipping costs. If you are unable to provide credit card authorization, DIY parts service may not be available to you and Mecha will offer alternative arrangements for service. Mecha will ship a replacement Product or part to you with installation instructions, if applicable, and any requirements for the return of the replaced Product or part. If you follow the instructions, Mecha will cancel the credit card authorization, so you will not be charged for the Product or part and shipping to and from your location. If you fail to return the replaced Product or part as instructed or return a replaced Product or part that is ineligible for service, Mecha will charge your credit card for the authorized amount.
(b) Service where Mecha does not require return of the replaced Product or part. Mecha will ship you free of charge a replacement Product or part accompanied by instructions on installation, if applicable, and any requirements for the disposal of the replaced Product or part.
(c) Mecha is not responsible for any labor costs you incur relating to DIY parts service. Should you require further assistance, contact Mecha at options listed at mecha.so/contact
Service options, parts availability, and response times may vary according to the country. If you require service in a country where Mecha or its Authorized Distributors are not registered, service options may be limited. If a given service option is not available for the Mecha Product in such a country, Mecha or its agents shall notify you about any additional shipping and handling charges, which may apply before rendering service. Where international service is available, Mecha may repair or replace Products and parts with comparable Products and parts that comply with local standards. Mecha may use Mecha Products or replacement parts for service that are sourced from a country that is different from the country from which the Mecha Product or original parts were sourced.
If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, it shall be severed from this warranty and the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected.
This warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of the country in which the Product purchase took place.
